BOAT BLESSES TORRES STRAIT CHURCHES
The provision of a boat to service the Torres Strait region, made possible by an offering at the 2018 QLD & NT State Conference is blessing the churches of the Torres Straits.
The vision for a boat to service the Torres Strait region was presented at the QLd & NT 2018 State Conference and an offering was received that more than covered the $80,000 required to purchase a boat. The boat is now dedicated and in service!

Seven new Indigenous chaplains
Seven Indigenous leaders recently undertook the Ministry Chaplaincy Upgrade course held at Ganggalah Church in Tweed Heads. This three-day course is aimed at Pastors and Leaders who have had significant pastoral leadership experience but are wanting to move further into the community by offering themselves as Chaplains.
